These are all podcasts that my husband and I have personally found to be helpful during our grief journey. The links all go to Spotify, but the podcasts are available on whatever platform you use to listen to podcasts. I am agnostic so too much talk of god can be off putting to me and I know many other loss parents feel the same. Know that I will specifically mention if there is a lot of talk about god in the podcast.
This podcast has been really helpful for me. The host Katherine is like your fun girlfriend who gets what you're going through. The episode with Dr Jason Collins is really hard to listen to if your baby died from a cord accident (like Genevieve), but I'm also glad I listened to it. Katherine is Christian, but most episodes have minimal to no mention of god.
The host, Sarah Cox, has struggled with infertility and had multiple losses. She interviews a lot of experts as well as loss parents on a variety of topics.
My husband has really found this podcast helpful. The hosts have a variety of loss backgrounds including stillbirth and infant loss.
I love this podcast that is about grief in general. Season 2 episode 3 is specifically about pregnancy and child loss. Depending on who the guest is there may be a bit of talk about god.
This podcast is from the organization Chasing the Rainbows which has lots of great resources for loss parents.
Jennifer Senn is a life coach and loss mom. The podcast episodes are often shorter than my other podcasts recommendations which can be nice if you have limited time to listen. There are lots of great topics and she has some free resources on her webpage. You can also get coaching from her.
Two Australian best friends discuss their interrupted mother journeys and interview others. One of the hosts had a stillbirth and the other host's baby survived after a stay in NICU.
I liked parts of what she had to say, but she talked about God too much for me as a nonbeliever. If you are Christian than this podcast would be a great choice for you.
