I would highly recommend this book. It really helped me. It is about grief in general, but is written by a loss mom. There is also a journal version and companion cards for it. I have the cards and find them helpful as meditation prompts.
I think this book is helpful especially if you don’t have a ton of time to devote to reading. Each page is its own tip for how to heal your heart and it has quick little steps you can take each day. There is something for everyone no matter their beliefs.
My husband recommends this book. He says the author really offers a lot of empathy and understanding and it is very helpful for feeling comfortable with where you are at in your grief.
I haven't read this book, but have seen many others recommend it. There are several editions. The link for amazon (above) is the most recent edition. The picture from Goodreads (below) is an older edition.
A loss mom in one of the support groups on Facebook recommended this book. She said, "I highlighted SO much that resonated with me in that one!"
The author had two losses and never went on to have a live child. She is a mental health professional and interviews lots of loss moms to create this book. It is free on Kindle Unlimited. I haven't finished it, but what I did read was really helpful. If you have no live children and are struggling with still considering yourself a parent then I would recommend it. I do wish it was more gender inclusive though.
