I can not say enough good things about The Finley Project! They provide so many resources for Loss Moms including arranging housing cleaning, gift card for food, and massages. There are a few requirements. You must be the birthing person of a baby (20 week gestational age up to 2 year old child) that passed away within the last 90 days. They often fill up but accept new applications on the 1st of every month. Apply here.

The Miss Foundation was created by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore who is a fellow loss mom, a professor, therapist, author, and grief expert. The Miss Foundation website has lots of resources for bereaved parents including help getting therapy.

Peer Companions

Several organizations offer peer support and match you with a peer who is further along in their loss journey. The Finley Project shown above includes connecting you with a support mom. Below are some other options for finding a peer to help you through your grief.

Love From Lydia has a program called COPE (Connecting Our Personal Experiences) that connects the newly bereaved with people who are further out in their loss journeys.

Guys and Grief

In addition to their podcast Guys and Grief offer what they call G&G 1:1 where you can connect one on one with one of the Dadvocates and get support.

Sad Dads Club

This group has virtual weekly and monthly support groups as well as a Discord channel to be connected with other loss dads. They also specifically mention that they are for any non-birthing parents not just people who identify as dads.
